Saudi Arabia to Open the World’s First Dragon Ball Z Theme Park

In a move that’s set to thrill anime fans around the globe, Saudi Arabia has announced the commencement of construction for the world’s first Dragon Ball Z theme park. The Saudi Arabia-based Qiddiya Investment Company is spearheading this ambitious project as part of its “Qiddiya” giga project.

Spanning over 500,000 square meters, the park will feature seven different areas, each meticulously designed to recreate iconic locales from the beloved series. Fans can look forward to visiting Kame House, Capsule Corporation, and even Beerus’s Planet.

The park promises an immersive adventure, allowing visitors to journey through the world of Dragon Ball, from the early days of the anime right up to Dragon Ball Super. With over 30 attractions, including five state-of-the-art rides, there’s something for every level of fan.

One of the most anticipated attractions is a 70-meter-high Shenron structure, which will house a large-scale roller coaster inside, offering a thrilling experience for the bravest of Saiyans.

To complete the immersive experience, the park will also feature themed hotels and restaurants, ensuring that fans can fully indulge in the Dragon Ball universe for an entire day or even longer.

This project is not just a testament to the enduring popularity of the Dragon Ball franchise but also a significant step in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan to diversify its economy and boost tourism. With tourism numbers reaching new heights in recent years, the Dragon Ball Z theme park is poised to become a major attraction for visitors from all over the world.
